Non-Carcass Composition of Thin Tail Sheep Fed Indigofera Zollingeriana with Different Maintenance System

The composition of non-carcass thin-tailed sheep fed Indigefera zollingeriana with different rearing systems, was evaluated using twenty an average initial body weight 18.3 ± 2.01 kg. variables observed in this study included the head, feet, skin, tail, liver, spleen, lungs, heart, kidneys, rumen, reticulum, omasum, abomasum, intestines, empty viscera and omnetal fat. design used a factorial completely randomized (CRD) five replications. Feed is treatment factor one (P1 = grass + commercial concentrate P2 zollingeriana) maintenance two (SI Semi Intensive I Intensive). results were analyzed by analysis covariance. correction sheep. showed that giving to resulted lower tail but higher kidney (P<0.05). In addition, there interaction effect (P< 0.05) between treatments on theomasum where P1I had highest omasum abomasum weights, while lowest weights P2I treatment.
